Dr. Monika Shah

Dr. Monika Shah is the Principal Dentist at MS Dental (Family Practice). Dr. Monika completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery qualification from India in 2006. After Graduation, she joined a private dental practice in India before moving to Australia in February 2007. In Australia, she completed her Australian Dental Council examinations and worked for multiple private practices in both Rural areas and Sydney. During this time, Dr Shah gained valuable experience working in very busy practices. She is frequently complemented by her patients that she is very gentle and caring. She makes nervous patients feel at ease. Dr. Monika believes that learning should never cease. She continues to attend various courses along with her busy schedule. She keeps herself updated with the latest innovations and technologies in Dentistry. Dr Shah makes visiting a Dentist an enjoyable experience.

Dr. Michael Ell

Dr Michael Ell joined MS Dental in August 2017. Dr Ell graduated from Sydney University in 1981 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree. He then accepted a position at Royal Newcastle Hospital in the Dental Department gaining extensive experience in all aspects of Dentistry. After 7 years in this role he joined his fathers practice in Cardiff which he owned and ran until 2017. Dr Ell strives for perfection in his work and he continues to educate himself professionally for the benefit of his patients. Dr Ell is excited to have joined Dr Shah and looks forward to looking after all his patients with the team at MS Dental.

Dr. Arti Patel

Dr Arti Patel joined MS Dental in October 2016. Dr Patel graduated from Ahmedabad, India in 2007 with her Bachelor of Dental Surgery. She has worked in many different private practices in India before moving to Australia. Arti personally involves herself in making sure her patients feel comfortable when attending the clinic, and are given all the options to achieve the best outcome for a healthy mouth. She is passionate about her work and takes pride in providing the best treatment and service she can offer to all patients. Arti often attends courses and lectures to ensure that she is up to date with latest dental techniques and guidelines.

Dr. Nikhil Kapoor

Dr. Nikhil Kapoor joined the MS Dental family in 2020. He earned a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from James Cook University in Cairns, Queensland, in 2019 and gained invaluable experience by completing two years of various dental placements in Darwin, Mackay, Cairns, and Townsville, where he treated a large number of patients from rural/regional areas, effectively developing his dentistry skills, knowledge, and techniques. He is deeply committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for each of the patients he sees. Striving to achieve the most holistic and individualized treatment plan for each patient in accordance with any of their needs ranging from aesthetics to finances. Dr. Kapoor is truly an enthusiastic and motivating member of the MS Dental team. Thank you Dr. Kapoor!

Dr. Faraz Hamid

Dr. Faraz Hamid joined MS Dental in May 2022 having made the decision to move to Australia from the United Kingdom. He graduated from King's College London in 2016 and gained extensive experience working in both private dentistry and the national health service. He is passionate about high quality patient care and empowering patients to help them realise their long term dental goals. He enjoys treating nervous patients and working with them to dispel their fears and phobias of the dentist. He has undergone postgraduate training in Invisalign, Quick Straight Teeth and composite veneers, and his passion lies in helping his patients keep their teeth and improve their smiles, through a combination of whitening, cosmetic bonding and clear aligner orthodontics.

Coming from a family of dentists, Dr. Diego was immersed in the world of dentistry from an early age. For him, the most rewarding aspect is the opportunity to help people, a value instilled in him. Dr. Diego enjoys all aspects of dentistry, with a particular focus on prevention, aesthetics, and pain management. He adopts a gentle and quiet approach, prioritising the comfort of his patients at all times. He takes the time to explain treatment options thoroughly, ensuring that each patient not only understands but also receives the best possible care.

Georgia Miles

Oral Health Therapist - Cardiff and Fletcher

Oral Health Therapist Georgia Miles joined MS Dental in July 2024. She graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2018 with a Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy. She has experience working in both private and public dental practices. She started as a dental assistant in 2011 before moving to Newcastle in 2015 to start the next step in her dental career. She has experience with all patients but has a special interest in working with children and anxious patients.

Practice Manager

Chantelle Joined our practice in 2017 where she started working as our Cardiff Practice Manager. She has since progressed and taken on the role of Practice Manager for all three of our locations. Chantelle has a wealth of knowledge in the Dental industry and has completed many additional courses to keep up to date with all our treatments offered at MS Dental. Chantelle is passionate about providing all our patients with exceptional customer service as well as great Dental Treatment and will be found always trying to help out in all areas of MS Dental. When not at work Chantelle is an active mum to two beautiful children and enjoys being outdoors with her family and friends.

Assistant Manager

Lyndal joined our practice in 2019 where she started working as a Dental Assistant and Receptionist. She has since progressed to the Lead Front Office Coordinator in our Cardiff location, where she oversees all our patient care. With years of experience, Lyndal shows great passion and motivation to provide our patients with empathy and care. She is full of knowledge about all the Dental Treatment that we provide and is passionate about providing our patients with any information they require. Lyndal is a Mother to beautiful twin boys and enjoys spending her down time as a family either camping or adventuring outdoors.

Clinical Co-ordinator

Reannan joined our practice in June 2021. She has an extensive background in customer service where she has learnt to provide exceptional patient care. Reannana has transitioned her customer service manner into providing exceptional patient care and learning more about dentistry everyday. She has a welcoming phone manner and always works towards giving each patient empathy and understanding at each visit. When Reannan is not at work she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Dental Assistants

Siobahn joined our practice in 2021 as a Trainee Dental Assistant. Siobahn has show to be a dedicated and indispensable part of the team. With such great work ethics, Siobahn has shown passion to learn more about the Dental industry. Siobahn has been an active violinist since she was a toddler and continues to chase her music passion by partaking in three different bands where she plays multiple insturtments. She is currently part of a team that are the reigning Australian National B champions since 2019. In her down time, she enjoys being with her niece and friends.
