Dental pain? We’ll see you today.Toothache, a knocked-out tooth, sudden swelling - MS Dental holds urgent slots open every day across our Cardiff, Fletcher and Mayfield clinics, so help is never far away. Gently, and fast.
Three clinics across the Newcastle & Hunter region
Fast, same-day emergency dental care across Newcastle
A dental emergency rarely arrives at a convenient time. Pain can build overnight, a tooth can break on a weekend, and swelling can appear hours before an important day. MS Dental provides emergency dental care across three family-run clinics in Cardiff, Fletcher and Mayfield, so help is never far away.
Most cases we can offer a same-day appointment, and our first priority is always the same: relieve your pain, stabilise the problem, and explain you before any treatment begins.
Book at your nearest Newcastle clinic
Three clinics across the Newcastle and Hunter region, each offering the same gentle, family-friendly emergency dentistry. Call ahead where possible so we can prepare for your arrival.

Mayfield
Dental emergencies we treat in Newcastle
Our clinics manage the full spectrum of urgent dental problems, from a single sensitive tooth to complex trauma. Every patient is assessed by a registered dentist who diagnoses the cause, not just the symptom.
Emergency Toothache Relief
The most common reason patients seek an emergency dentist. We examine the tooth, take an X-ray where helpful, and treat the cause to relieve pain quickly.
Learn moreKnocked-Out or Broken
Chipped, broken or knocked-out teeth from sport, a fall or an accident. With a knocked-out adult tooth, minutes matter.
Abscess & Swelling
A dental abscess is a bacterial infection that will not resolve on its own. Facial swelling should always be looked at quickly.
Lost Filling or Crown
Keep any crown or inlay that has come off, as the dentist can often re-cement it. A lost filling usually needs replacing on the day, so avoid chewing on that side and book in soon.
FillingsEmergency Extraction
When a tooth is too damaged or infected to save, a gentle extraction removes the source of pain and stops infection spreading.
Wisdom Tooth Pain
Impacted or partially erupted wisdom teeth can cause sudden pain, swelling and jaw stiffness. We assess whether removal is best.
Wisdom teethChildren's Injuries
Gentle age appropriate care for dental injuries and knocks in kids. - the next line about child dental benefite seems out of place.
Where a problem reveals an underlying issue, we plan follow-up care - such as a root canal, a crown or a replacement option - so you leave with a clear path forward.
Same-day dentist across Newcastle
When you’re hurting, waiting days isn’t on. We hold emergency slots open in our daily schedule and do whatever we can to see people in genuine pain the same day they ring, while we’re open. Here’s how to give yourself the best shot at today.
Phone Cardiff, Fletcher or Mayfield the moment you can - the earlier you ring, the better your chance of being seen today.
